Masters week has started, hot off the commencement of U.S. tariffs. The last five days has been dramatic. U.S. policy is greatly changing and a transitory period has begun. Volatility in the markets and global trade has made things very interesting.
The stock market has corrected with the Dow pulling back about 10% in 3 days of trading off highs and many are waiting to see if the Fed will drop interest rates. This has been a much needed shake up, which will hopefully produce great results for the U.S.. It seems to be setting the stage for changes in monetary policy, the establishment of the External Revenue Service, and the reduction/elimination of taxes. But with great change to strengthen a flawed system, adversity, struggle and some pain are expected.
So the timing works nice, stay balanced by watching the Masters. Let the tariff and markets shake out, focus on Augusta and enjoy the Masters. Additionally, it’s the time of year to start ramping up your golf game and practicing. This is the time to get juiced up for golf season.
